For over twenty-five years, I have maintained a conceptual continuity in my nursing academics and career, an unswerving path dedicated to the service of others, and improving lives in sustainable ways. From one opportunity to another, I have excelled and given all that I am to the field that has brought me great personal, spiritual, and professional satisfaction. I now hope to complete the MSN program at ____ University to bring my dreams to fruition.
I have reached a point in my career where I am anxious to increase the depth of my knowledge and practice in maternal child health, particularly with a focus on patient safety issues. Thus, I seek an immersion experience in the causes of infant morbidity and mortality. I hope to become a professor of Nursing in a community college and help to create a mission-based teaching program for undergraduate nursing field experiences. Bringing my passion for maternal-child health issues to the classroom, coupled with my interdisciplinary skills and experiences in anesthesia, I will be able to create an autonomous curriculum that focuses on not just maternal-child health, but also patient anesthesia safety issues.
As an aspiring MSN Program student, I am passionate about promoting nursing diversity by facilitating learning and appreciation of cultural differences. I am excited about helping students understand their place in the world and learn more about themselves. My goal is to assist non-profit organizations concerned with maternal and child health morbidity and mortality, providing health care both locally and globally.
